Old Man Palm

 Native to Cuba the Old Man Palm is a king amongst palms typifies the palm collection at Mount Palmetum. Started in 1976 by Lewis Knudsen the palm collection now numbers 159. Mr. Knudsen started most of the palms from seeds he collected from around the World such as Australia, New Guinea, Sri Lanka Hawaii, Central and South America.
